PPBSO YOUTH
You are the future of piping and drumming in Ontario.
The PPBSO is committed to creating an environment where you can thrive.
We want you to enjoy your experiences, learn, grow but mainly to have fun.
We also want to attract more young people, like yourselves, into piping and
drumming.
The Board of PPBSO have created a Youth Development Committee with the
sole purpose of ensuring those goals are met and exceeded.
There are several plans taking shape:
The Ontario Youth Pipe Band
The OYPB is a project being led by one of our key leaders in the area of youth
development, Tyler Bridge. This project is gaining ground and will continue to grow.
The recent attendance and performance at the Fergus Scottish Festival was awesome!
Workshops
We are creating plans to provide some workshops throughout the year where you can
meet others and learn from the best teachers in Ontario.
Summer School
We are also early in the planning stage to create an Ontario piping & drumming summer
school - again with the best teachers from Ontario and beyond.
Communication
We would like to have more interactivity and communication specifically for our youth
members. We are working on a plan to re-develop our website to make that possible.
