I began learning the drums at age 8 under Jimmy Agnew and Sandy McKail. After working my way through the grades, I have spent the last 15 years competing with a Grade 1 pipe band, 10 years in the professional solo grade, and have taught pipe bands and solo students for 9 years. My teaching emphasizes musical clarity, consistency, and performance readiness.
