Tenor Drumming Workshop with Simon Hodgett (St Laurence O'Toole PB)

Paris Port Dover Pipe Band is offering a one-day master class tenor workshop, including four separate sessions, with world-renowned Tenor Drumming champion and Instructor, Simon Hodgett from the Grade One former World Champion St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band from Dublin, Ireland.

Simon is lead tenor and instructor, and has won numerous prizes as a soloist and band member. He's an extremely popular instructor for tenor and bass drums, this is his first visit to teach in Canada.

The workshop will include basics of tenor drumming, beginner to advanced flourishing, scoring, and how to effectively practice and understand what judges listen for.
