Hamilton Police PB March off Hess St with the Grade 4 trophy

The PPBSO outdoor season kicked off on Saturday with the inaugural Hamilton Highland Gathering - small outdoor contest held on the grounds of the Scottish Rite in downtown Hamilton.

Eight bands competed along with a full slate of amateur solos. Bands then marched to Hess St where, after a few massed band tunes, the awards ceremony took place.

The PPBSO wants to thank all the bands and soloists, volunteers, judges, stewards, The Scottish Rite, the Hess St businesses and all in attendance that helped make this event a great success.
