For generations, the Georgetown Highland Games has marked the unofficial start of summer!

On Saturday, June 13th, 2026, the Georgetown Fairgrounds will once again transform into a celebration of Scottish culture, community, and tradition as the Georgetown Highland Games celebrates its 51st Anniversary.

Massed Bands at the Georgetown Highland Games

Established in 1975, the games have become one of Halton Hills most anticipated annual events. At the heart of the day is the unforgettable sound of pipes and drums, creating a Celtic atmosphere that draws in both longtime fans and those coming for the first-time.

Highland Dancing at the Georgetown Highland Games

The PPBSO proudly offer sanctioned competitions in pipe and drum solos, bands and even a drum major competition. Click here to view the current order of play. Beyond the competition circle, the games offer something for everyone. Highland dancers will be competing throughout the day, while the Men’s and Ladies Scottish Heavyweights Competitions bring plenty of energy as athletes compete in classic Highland events. Visit their website for the full event schedule.

Clan Village at the Georgetown Highland Games

Families can enjoy a wide variety of activities throughout the day, including inflatable castles, face painting, local vendors, traditional Scottish fare, festival favourites, and Celtic-inspired products from artisans and businesses. Visitors can also explore the Clan Village, where they can learn about Scottish history and discover connections to their own heritage. The games provide a fun and family-friendly experience for all ages, offering free admission for children 12 and under when accompanied by a parent, adults are $20, seniors are $10, and they're also dog-friendly!
