Band Tuning
Bands will have the opportunity to set their instruments in the cobbled environment of the Hess Village entertainment district. A setting unique to the Ontario games scene. The bars and restaurants of Hess Village are excited to have the sounds of the pipes and drums featured in and around their establishments with some planning to offer Scottish themed menu items on the day.
Final tuning will be on the grounds of the Scottish Rite near the competition circle.
On the day
Hamilton Highland Gathering T-shirts will be on sale, a "Come and Try" the pipes and drums tent will be set-up and, note that washroom facilities are provided courtesy of Scottish Rite management within the building.
Prize presentation & gathering closing

At approximately 3:00 pm bands will form-up in the Scottish Rite courtyard and march from there to Hess Village. (approx. 150 M.) Massed bands will play a few tunes at the halt and Amazing Grace on Hess St prior to awards.
