Drumming Education @PPBSO!

The Pipers’ & Pipe Band Society of Ontario is pleased to announce a new drumming education resource page created by members of the PPBSO’s percussion judging panel.

These pages provide a source of reliable information for anyone wanting to learn pipe band drumming including bass, tenor and snare. In addition, a list of experienced teachers, learning structures, videos and strategies for learning are all clearly mapped out.

The pages will be fully integrated within the new PPBSO web site scheduled to launch mid-summer of 2022.

Drummers (and pipers) are reminded of the educational opportunity offered by the PPBSO’s summer school, SummerBlast!, July 4-8. Drummers can avail themselves to the world champion experience of Jake Jørgensen, leading drummer of The Scottish Power Pipe Band, Paul Brown, principal, the RSPBA’s drumming school and Andrew Elliott, lead tenor of the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band.
