Attention Soloists and Bands!

We have a problem - but it's a good problem to have. There are so many solo entries at Georgetown that it's critical that we stay on schedule or it will create issues for the band contest schedule.

As a reminder to all solo competitors (pipers and drummers both amateur and professional), as required by the rules, you MUST check-in with the event steward at the start of each contest. If you fail to check-in - the steward may assume that you have withdrawn - and your name may be scratched - it's imperative that we keep the contests moving along.
Stewards and judges will also be closely monitoring tuning times. [Rule B-2: Tuning time is a maximum of five minutes for piobaireachd, and a maximum of three minutes for all other contests. Individuals exceeding the allowable tuning times may be disqualified.]
We are in the same boat with the band contest, we have about 30 bands to get through the circles and then we must clear the arena for other events so it's important that bands be at the line at the time advised by the senior stewards.
Have a great day and good luck to all!
