Applications are now open for Pipe Idol at Piping Live!

This prestigious solo piping competition for pipers aged under 21 happens annually through the week of Piping Live! in Glasgow.

Helen Urquart, head of events for Piping Live said, "the event takes place in the week leading up to the World Pipe Band Championships, and we are inviting applications from young pipers across the world who would like to take part".

The event will once again be sponsored by Fred Morrison Pipes, with the overall winner receiving a set of Fred Morrison Reelpipes.
