Almonte Done - That's a Season Wrap!

The North Lanark Highland Games, with it's idyllic setting, closed off a great PPBSO 2025 outdoor season. Beautiful weather and a great atmosphere, Almonte delivers again.


North Lanark offers only amateur solo events but entries were up 44% from last year - so it's certainly a very popular games.


Congratulations to Alexander Rocheleau, amateur piper of the day. A few other honorable mentions: Ben Doucet swept grade 2, Brittany Wright took the senior amateur piobaireachd, Gregory MacDonald Joseph took the intermediate amateur piobaireachd, Jayden Lushman took the junior amateur piobaireachd, William Hunter-Assing won the novice piobaireachd A and Declan Wright took the novice piobaireachd B


In drumming Owen Yateman won grade 3 snare, Ryan Seigmiller took grade 4 snare, Shawn Joseph Tobin took grade 5 adult snare and Calum Porter won grade 5 youth snare.
