At last August's Glengarry Highland Games in Maxville, Ontario, Drew Duthart, leading drummer of the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band led a show-stopping drum fanfare at the games' closing ceremonies. Almost 60 drummers performed his father, Alex Duthart's iconic "Salute to Max Rayne" and were treated to a well-deserved standing ovation.
This year is the 75th Anniversary of the Glengarry Highland Games and to help mark the occasion Drew will again lead a massed drum fanfare, again, "Salute to Max Rayne". Snare, tenor and bass drummers can download the score here.
All drummers who are able are encouraged to participate as this performance will be submitted to administrators to be officially marked as a Guinness World Record!
